Huniepop fanfiction
The match 3 style game play is the most addicting and the 'dating' parts of the game is a game of match 3 where you have to fill up a meeter within a certain amount of turns. Still, I WOULD LOVE SOME MORE STORY but there is none and the game focuses more on the idea of scoring with the ladies than getting a real geunine relationship like in other visual novels. Lola is probably the best example of this because she's not getto and not trying to be a white woman, she's successful in her work and has a lot of ambition. They also don't rely on racial stereotypes for the minority characters. There is also a Japanese woman named Aiko, but a lot of dating sims are Japanese so i expected one of those as a love interest. It has a total of 3 minorities (Lola is black, Kyanna is mexican and Beli is indian). Sure a few of them are dating sim stereotypes (such as Audrey being a total ♥♥♥♥♥, Aiko being the sexy teacher and Tiffany being the classic girl next door), but this is probably one of the most ethnically diverse dating sims i've played so far. Sad, cuz unlike other dating sims i came to really like these characters. The characters are rather 2D in that sense so i end up filling in the blanks with my imagination. I would've liked more story and character to each of the girls, like i would've liked to get to know more about their families, where they come from or what they've had to deal with in life (like the stuff you get from most visual novels) but sadly there isn't much story here. It seems like an odd couple for gaming but strangely i find that it works.īut like i said, this could've been split up into 2 different games, one with the dating sim and one match 3 game. The two vastly different game styles could've easily been 2 seperate games.

It's a mix of dating sim and match 3 style game play (so if you've played Candy Crack or Bejewled you might like it). Although Huniepop doesn't have much of an actual story and as said above it's not a true visual "novel". I even like some of the more fanservicey ones so long as they have unique characters and a good story.
I'm a female and i like visual novels and dating sims as much as the next guy.
